Willows or Illusions: 2010–2019
Shortly after the ending of a relationship and the loss of my parents. I turned the camera on myself for the very first time. For nearly a year I photographed obsessively, forming a body of work I titled "the private world of alydelu" .
This project gradually expanded to include friends and acquaintances within Berlin art scene at the time, including Basso Berlin and the early of Möbel-Olfe, Roses, and later Südblock.
After taking several rolls of film,I would often make a second portrait shoot a second portrait including myself, creating a double portrait.
