  • NEW NEWS!

Three key artworks from Alyssa De Luccia’s Photo-montage series, (2016-Present), have been acquired and are now part of the permanent collection of the Berlinische Galerie, State Museum for Modern Art, in Berlin, Germany, alongside the estate of Hannah Höch, who represents an important early influence for the artist. This was back in 1979 shortly after De Luccia moved to New York City and the summer before she became a full-time student at Parsons School of Design. Part of the application requirement into Parsons Fine Art program was submitting portfolio that included a collage piece, while researching the history of collage, she discovered the artwork by Hannah Höch for the very first time.

These artworks will premiere in a group show titled “Images in Fashion–Clothing in Art, Photography, Painting and Fashion: 1900 to Today” curated by the amazing Dr. Annelie Lütgens at the Berlinische Galerie. There will be a catalogue accompanying the exhibition.

The exhibition will run from the 18.2.2230.5.22. The opening is on the 17th of February.
