Before Dawn & The Great Pause (Selection)

Before Dawn Drawings, 2018-2023 where created mostly before dawn when the residue of dreams are still lingering. A daily drawing practice, similar to a journal that I started parallel to my collage practice but since then has taken a life of its own.
Greatly influenced by my surroundings (Kreuzberg) and current affairs, found images and text as in my collage practice. Made in Berlin, Williamsburg, Brooklyn and Jackson Heights, Queens.
Titles are very important in all my art, often adding another layer of interpertaion.
