"Fearless and Dominant", 2018/21, digital photo-documented collage on matte fine art photo paper, 37” x 33".
This work immediately became my personal mantra in a politically abusive atmosphere during the Trump era.
*The image of the "single eye" in the foreground symbolizes, as in many of my collage works; protection, foresight, vigilance.
It could also be seen as the artist's eye looking back at the viewer.
The black and white half-veil is a protective mask and was originally inspired by Gucci.
Collage materials: magazine photos, newsprint, cardboard and black paint.
In 2021, this work was added to the permanent collection of the Berlinische Galerie.
